One of the LSPU's mandates is to develop consortia and other economic forms of linkages with local government units, institutions and agencies, both public and private, local and foreign in the furtherance of the purposes and objectives of the University; hence strengthen linkages by forging international academic collaborations.
In connection with the invitation of DR. DANG KIM VUI, President of Thai Nguyen University, dated May 8, 2013, the Honorable LSPU President, DR. NESTOR M. DE VERA headed to TNU, Vietnam along with two other university officials, DR. MARIO C. PASION, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and DR. FLORHAIDA V. PAMATMAT, Director for International Affairs, for a consultative meeting on international cooperation on academic programs between TNU, Vietnam and LSPU, Philippines.
VP for Administration and Finance, Mrs. Nerrida P. Baja with the support from the LSPU University President, Dr. Nestor M. De Vera, instigates the holding of the Regional Training-Workshop in coordination from the (DBM) Department of Budget and Management held at Sol Y Viento Resorts and Hotel, Calamba City, 25th November.
As part of the 61st foundation day of LSPU - Siniloan, a pre-launch of the LSPU Philippine Science Consortium Local Elimination was held at the University Function Hall in November 22, 2013.
The event organized by Engr. Rommel Octavius R. Nuestro (VP for Research and Development/PSC Local Coordinator - Technical) and Mr. Romulo C. Ballesteros (Campus Director/PSC Local Coordinator - Administrative) was themed "Celebrating campus traditions, life and foundation through quality education responsive to ASEAN employment mobility 2015". It was hosted by Mrs. Mercedita O. Alberto, CTE Extension Coordinator.
Early February this year, the communications between the Laguna State Polytechnic University and Phnom Penh International University of Cambodia commenced. Dr. Ky Ravikun, the PPIU Director for Public and International Affairs, and Dr. Florhaida V. Pamatmat, LSPU Director for International Affairs exchange impressions and ideas on possible international academic collaborations between two universities, hence, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on October 30 held at PPIU, Cambodia.
